Mr. Rami Esbai
Mr. Rami Esbai is an energy industry professional with more than a decade of experience working at Bapco Upstream. Having a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Leeds and an MBA from DePaul University, Mr. Esbai has taken on a variety of engineering roles at Bapco Upstream, progressing to his current position as the Head of Modelling and Forecasting. In this role, he oversees the Data Science and AI Engineering function.
Having a strong passion for developing analytical systems that improve production operations, Rami has spent the last three years venturing into the field of artificial intelligence, where he has played a pivotal role in Bapco Upstream's digital transformation initiative. He is also highly involved in the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where he has published multiple papers, served on a variety of organizing committees, and is currently preparing for his PMP and Scrum certification exams.
