Ms. Latifa Mohammed Al-Abbasi
With over 18 years of experience in Information Technology and a master’s degree in cyber security, Al-Abbasi possesses extensive knowledge in IT best practices, auditing and governance, IT alignment with business strategic interests and information security controls and privacy protection and AI applications and advanced technologies.
In her current role as Chief of Quality Management, she led the implementation of a Risk Management Plan for the iGA, ISO 20000 project certification in IT Service Management and iGA business continuity management.
Al-Abbasi is a board member of the ISACA Bahrain chapter and a Technology and business society member. She is heading the Generative AI committee (GPT) and part of several committees in AI, Data protection, Business Continuity Management, international awards and iGA Service Center Evaluation.
She is passionate about learning, sharing knowledge and helping develop others. And was a speaker at several conferences and presented some papers, like the World Blockchain Congress Bahrain 2018, the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit in 2019, the 3ICT Conference 2020 about AI and advanced technologies, the Second Emerging Technologies- Government Digi Conference discussing Governance 2021 where she discussed best practice and Cyber Security of digital transformation.
